Bird Watching with your Family: It’s a Hoot!

What do birds do in winter? Treat your family to a fun outing where you can all watch, identify and learn about birds on a forest walk that takes you past various feeders. Through activities and games, both children and adults will learn about the characteristics of the birds on Mount Royal and how they adapt to the cold season.


Start and end point: Beaver Lake Pavilion, 2000 Remembrance Rd., Montreal, Quebec. H3H 1X2  | Ground floor

Special note: This walk is geared to children aged 5 and older, but the whole family is welcome. Please note that every child must be accompanied by an adult.


Duration: 2 h

Distance: 2 km

Level: Easy

Language: This activity is offered in French, but questions in English are welcome. 

Rates (plus tax):

  • Ages 5 to 11: $8
  • Ages 13 to 25 and 65+: $14,45
  • Regular rage: $17

This rates include the snowshoe rental.
