Snowshoe Excursion : by the Glow of the City Lights

This one is not to be missed! Discover the magical atmosphere that awaits you on Mount Royal, right in the heart of the city!

Explore the mountain’s nighttime winter wonderland while learning to snowshoe by the glow of the city lights. Accompanied by our guides, learn about the history of snowshoeing and help revive this tradition on Mount Royal’s forest trails.

Starting and end point: Beaver Lake Pavilion

Duration: Approximately 2 hours (preparation + 1.5-hr hike) on a 3-km intermediate-level trail (climbs and descents)

Language: This excursion is offered in French and English.

Rate (plus tax): 12 years or older: $27 (snowshoes and hot chocolate included). Note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation or Refund: Please note that your registration is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. Should Les Amis de la montagne decide to cancel the activity due to weather conditions, we will contact you by email one day in advance to let you know, and a credit will appear in your Amilia account.
