Exploring the Therapeutic Value of Mount Royal

Did you know that Mount Royal Park was created with the health of Montrealers in mind? Learn about the vision of the park’s designer, Frederick Law Olmsted, and discover the legacy of Les Hospitalières, the order of religious hospitallers whose garden remains one of the jewels of the Mount Royal Heritage Site that has played so many different roles during the course of its history. Starting at the Jardin du monastère des Hospitalières (Cité-des-Hospitalières), the walk will take you up to the Camillien-Houde Lookout via the mountain’s eastern slope. Join us and treat yourself to a moment of well-being for the body and mind!

End point: Monument to Sir George-Étienne Cartier (Mount Royal Park / Avenue du Parc), Montreal (Quebec), H2W 1S8
